AND MICROBIOLOGYOur well equipped Pathology department efficiently carries out the latest test on patients and help clinicians in evaluation and diagnosis of diseases.
Our Microbiology services also offer state-of-the-art molecular microbiology with the high end fully automated gene sequencer. The Department is well equipped for conducting clinical trials and research projects for all consultants.
Experienced Microbiologists are available for regular patient interactions.

USG
Ultrasonography is used to generate soft tissue images of liver, gallbladder, spleen, kidney, prostate, female reproductive organs and of foetus. Ultrasonography is also useful in the evaluation of various small parts of the body such as the eye, the neck, knee joint etc. Trans vaginal USG and rectal USG helps in diagnosis and detailed evaluation of pathology.

X-Ray
Computerised Radiography (CR) gives excellent x-ray images of various parts of the body. Various x-ray procedures e.g. Barium Studies, I.V.U. (Intravenous Urography), Ascending Urethrogram, Micturating Urethrogram, Sinogram etc. helps in diagnosis.

C.T. SCAN
During C.T. Scan several thin x-ray beams are sent simultaneously from different angles. Computer collects the data and generates detailed C.T. images. C. T. Scan is very good in identifying haemorrhage in the brain and also helps in diagnosing other diseases of the brain. It can also find tumours and other lesions throughout the body. It also helps in characterizing various types of lung disease. C.T. Scan is also helpful in identifying internal injuries such as liver, spleen contusion/laceration etc. C. T. Scan also be used for guiding biopsy.
